Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query and DAX.
- Maintain and optimize existing Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Interpret data trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct user training and provide support for Power BI users across departments.
- Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance standards are followed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) working with Power BI and data analytics.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M language).
- Strong SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases.
- Understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex data to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300) is a plus.
- Experience with Azure Data Services, Excel, Python, or R is an advantage.
- Knowledge of business domains such as finance, marketing, or HR analytics.
