About the Job

About the company:

  • At Unimex we are a trading company that exports fine Egyptian goods to the world.


  • As an Export sales manager you will be responsible for generating and enhancing the sales of Unimex FMCG in other countries.
  • You will be the intermediary between foreign buyers and domestic sellers. Export sales managers find buyers internationally for domestic product manufacturers. plan and coordinate the international shipment of goods.
  • During the course of the day, you may negotiate with a variety of people, such as shippers, agents and vendors.
  • In your accounting function, you may keep track of invoices and prepare reports to expedite the billing process. Moreover, you have to ensure that shipments are in compliance with the laws and regulations governing the export industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The basic and the most important step is to identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers from different countries.
  • To plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer's needs and requirements
  • To make sure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing the new customers
  • To ensure that the all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given time scales
  • To take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the export procedures and activities
  • To constantly review distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the management
Job Requirements

Skills and qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Africa/ MENA/Central Europe markets
  • Fluent in English
  • Past experience in the field: 3-5 years.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Should master office tools to maintain and update various kinds of reports.
  • Rigorous, autonomous
  • Worked as export manager for similar products before , have the ability to define new export opportunities and clients
  • Have the ability to negotiate with target customers and solve shipping issues for shipments
