Job Description

  • The Human Resource Associate is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the firm’s partners and portfolio companies in supporting hiring needs in the MENA region.
  • This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: new hire on-boarding, employee benefits, employment records and reports, and payroll compliance.

These duties may include:

  • Keep all employee data up to date in the payroll system (Namely), including deductions and contributions.
  • Set up new local registrations in countries where future employees may be hired.
  • Assist our portfolio companies with their recruitment needs and HR advice
  • Help onboard new employees, creating an onboarding program for the various countries.
  • Coordinates onboarding/offboarding: Creates email accounts, orders new laptops and desk equipment and ensures new hires are setup in all company applications prior to first day. Then revokes these application access points when individuals leave the company.
  • Assist new employees with their new hire enrollment documents and benefit enrollment process.
  • Assist with keeping the HRIS system (Namely) updated with employee data.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Help foster company culture and staff activities on a regular basis (volunteer opportunities, staff fun!).
