Job Description

 

  • Ensure first aid and welfare facilities and support to all business units/departments.
  • Conduct periodic audits to identify physical hazards and unsafe workplace conditions and work practices.
  • Ensure effective dissemination and communication on health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with the safety and security measures required by the Egyptian laws.
  • Develop standard processes for investigating accidents and problems.
  • Assess risks to health and safety and develop preventative measures.
  • Generate and maintain safety records and reports for assigned areas exposed to hazardous substances electrical noise radiation manual handling risks.
  • Conduct and update risk and threat assessments and provide early warnings regarding any threats that could affect the business.
  • Establish safety guidelines and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and institutionalize GB Auto’s data know how and capabilities related to industrial safety and environment.
  • Identify and track industrial safety KPIs and devise plans and initiatives for improvement.
  • Manage, develop and implement plans to start up security standard procedures.
  • Develop and implement preventative security programs including the supervision of security supervisors. 
  • Develop systems capability to drive sustained improvement in functions performance.
  • Provide support for the professional development of subordinates. 
  • Review and conduct performance evaluations for security staff.
  • Select and train security employees.
  • Motivate security employees to achieve objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
  • Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred
  • Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
  • 9-12 years of experience 
  • Microsoft office suite
  •  Excellent command of English
