*Job Title: HSE Section Head/Manager

*Reporting To: QHSE Senior Manager/Director

*Department: HSE

*Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a HSE team on the ground.
Develop a long-term strategic plan for the HSE department aligned with organizational objectives.
Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures specific to food-grade plastic recycling.
Manage environmental compliance related to the recycling process.
Develop and implement safety training programs for employees at all levels.
Maintain and update the management systems in accordance with international standards.
Develop, update, educate and implement Emergency Response Plans.
Compile and analyze data related to safety, environmental compliance, and people behavior.
Implement behavioral-based safety programs that focus on identifying and correcting unsafe behaviors.
Prepare reports and recommendations for continuous improvement, specifically addressing food-grade safety standards.
Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs aligned with organizational goals.
Develop work related SOP`s and lead the organization in identifying and mitigating emerging risks related to health, safety, and the environment.
Conduct routine safety inspections& Audit to assess compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Assist in the health and safety management systems in accordance with organization plans and compliance with and adherence to legislation and agreed regulatory bodies’ processes and procedures.
Lead incident and near miss investigation to identify root causes and corrective actions.
