Job Description
Our company is seeking an experienced Quality & Production Manager to oversee and manage the operations of our wood products manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wood/furniture production, with proven experience in quality management, production planning, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Assign tasks to the production team and monitor their execution to ensure targets are met.
- Ensure timely execution of orders according to required specifications.
- Develop and implement production plans, optimizing workflow and minimizing waste.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure all products meet company standards and client specifications.
- Manage and lead production staff and technicians to achieve quality and output targets.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments, including Accounts, Technical Office, and Procurement, to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in quality assurance and production management, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing quality management systems and production protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to analyze complex production challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of industry standards, regulatory compliance, and safety practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in using quality management and production planning software.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
