Job Description
- Manage daily operations of the printing department (screen printing, digital printing, sublimation, heat transfer, etc.).
- Plan and schedule printing orders to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Oversee color matching, design accuracy, and print durability in line with buyer specifications.
- Supervise and train printing staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor printing equipment, coordinate maintenance, and ensure minimal downtime.
- Control ink, chemicals, and consumables usage while minimizing wastage.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile Technology, Printing Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in garment printing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of different printing methods, inks, fabrics, and finishing techniques.
- Experience with color management and print quality assurance.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable printing practices is an advantage.
