Job Description
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor system performance and implement security measures to safeguard company data and IT assets.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and upgrades of IT equipment.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are up to date and tested.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and support activities for reference and compliance.
- Assist in the deployment and integration of new technologies and software applications.
- Train staff on IT best practices, software usage, and cybersecurity awareness.
- Stay updated on emerging IT trends and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and security.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to work onsite and provide hands-on support as needed.
