Job Description
- Analysis and interpretation of collected infection control data;
- Investigation and surveillance of suspected outbreaks of infection;
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of infection prevention and control measures;
- Education of individuals about infection risk, prevention and control;
- Development and revision of infection control policies and procedures; and
- Distribute the work to the infection control team and make traffic schedules.
- Apply training in infection control practices within the health facility.
- Directly supervises the infection control team to implement the plan.
- Monitor indicators and statistics and reports to the concerned departments.
- Activate and follows the acquired infection monitoring system inside the hospital.
- Ensuring the availability of the necessary supplies and equipment to control infection, while informing the infection control committee of the hospital in case of any deficiency.
- Carry out investigations during epidemics in cooperation with the medical team and the nursing team at the health facility and inform the infection control committee.
- Directly supervises the infection control team to implement the plan.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience
- Bachelor of Medicine , Pharmacy or Dental medicine .
- Excellent Leadership Skills
- Leadership and supervisory abilities
