Job Description
• Analyze inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly inventory reports, including valuation and variances.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory accounts in the general ledger.
• Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and assist with annual audits.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and accounting records.
• Implement and monitor inventory control policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing budgets and forecasts related to inventory.
• Support the finance team in month-end closing processes related to inventory.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in inventory accounting or related financial roles.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
