Job Description
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability across all product lines.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and plan stock replenishments.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records to identify discrepancies.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in accordance with company procedures.
- Implement and maintain effective stock control systems to minimize losses and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all stock handling processes.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to track incoming shipments and resolve delivery issues.
- Support the implementation of new inventory management technologies and process enhancements.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff on best practices for inventory handling and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in stock recording and reporting.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and quality regulations in warehousing.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to process improvement.
