Job Description
- Develop and maintain accurate costing systems for all manufacturing processes and products.
- Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability to provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and control inventory costs, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of cost records and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement across the manufacturing operations.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing reliable cost data and analysis.
- Assist in the implementation of new costing methodologies and ERP system enhancements.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on cost accounting principles and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cost accounting, within a manufacturing environment is a must.
- IFRS certification is a plus
- Cairo and East Cairo residents is a must
- Proven track record in developing and managing costing systems for large-scale operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities for reporting to executive management.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
