Job Description
The Junior QS Technical Office Engineer provides vital support to the technical office team by assisting in the preparation, coordination, and assist in shop drawings, reviewing as-built drawing and accurate quantity take-offs. ensures compliance with project specifications and facilitates effective collaboration among project teams to deliver timely and high-quality documentation.
- Assist in preparing detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Support in preparing and updating Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Collaborate closely with procurement and site teams to ensure quantity data is accurate and reflects current project scope.
- Monitor and document variations and scope changes.
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and timely assist in shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and reviewing as-built drawing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil or Architecture Engineering, Construction Management, SSP or related field.
- (1–3) years of experience in quantity surveying, technical office, or related construction support roles is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in quantity take-off MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and shop drawing processes is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
