Job Description
- Draft and distribute academic updates, policies, and announcements to faculty, staff, and students.
- Coordinate with academic departments to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Manage official academic communications, including emails, messages, and newsletters
- Develop and maintain academic content for websites, brochures, and social media platforms.
- Ensure all materials adhere to institutional branding and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with branding guidelines, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
- Create multimedia content (infographics, videos, presentations) to enhance engagement
- Assist in drafting and editing scripts, speeches, and program materials for academic events (graduations, orientations, conferences). • Coordinate with event teams to ensure smooth execution of ceremonies.
- Prepare post-event reports and promotional content (recaps, testimonials).
- Activate and manage CMI memberships for students/staff, including registrations, renewals, and benefits communication.
- Promote CMI resources (webinars, certifications, networking events) to enhance professional development.
- Track membership engagement and report on participation metrics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s/master’s in communications, English, Education, or related field.
- 3+ years in academic communications, corporate communications, or higher education administration. Experience with CMI or similar professional bodies (preferred).
- Understanding of academic regulations, curriculum updates, and institutional protocols.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex academic jargon for diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset to work with faculty, students, and leadership
