Job Description
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for local and foreign sourcing in alignment with company objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage procurement activities for materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee contract management, supplier agreements, and purchasing terms to mitigate risks and optimize costs.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement aligns with operational needs and project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and international trade requirements.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Develop reports and insights on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier relationships.
Job Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience in purchasing is a must.
• Strong knowledge of local and international sourcing, contracts, and supplier management.
• Strong knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
•Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
