Job Description

Role Purpose

Identify, engage, and convert Egyptian merchants to Sariee’s AI-powered e-commerce platform

Serve as first point of contact, demo specialist, and deal closer for SME and DTC brands

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads via cold outreach, events, and referral networks
  • Conduct discovery calls to map merchant pain points (payments, shipping, marketing)
  • Deliver tailored product demos highlighting AI product upload, omnichannel integrations, COD management
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to meet monthly revenue targets
  • Coordinate onboarding with Customer Success for smooth store setup and first order
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in CRM (HubSpot/Zoho)
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors (Shopify, Salla, Zid) and relay feedback to Product & Marketing

Must-Have

  • 2 + years B2B or SaaS sales experience (e-commerce a strong plus)
  • Documented track record of meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Fluent Arabic and professional English; strong verbal & written communication
  • Proven negotiation and consultative-selling skills
  • Hands-on CRM proficiency (HubSpot, Zoho, or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of online payments, shipping, and basic e-commerce workflows
  • Ability to travel inside Egypt up to ~30 % for client visits and events
  • Self-starter mindset, comfortable with hybrid work and aggressive targets

Nice-to-Have

  • Existing network of merchants in fashion, F&B, electronics, or cosmetics verticals
  • Familiarity with Egyptian payment gateways (Fawry, Paymob, ValU, etc.) and local logistics partners (Aramex, Bosta, etc.)
  • Exposure to AI-driven sales or marketing tools
  • Experience selling subscription or usage-based pricing models
  • Basic knowledge of digital-marketing funnels and performance metrics

Soft Skills

  • High EQ and active-listening ability to uncover merchant pain points
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-growing start-up environment
  • Strong time-management and pipeline-prioritization skills
