Job Description
- The role of Foreign Purchasing will include, but not limited to the following:
- Negotiate contract terms of agreements and pricing.
- Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
- Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
- Analyzing supply-demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Alsun, Literature, Commerce (English or French Division)
- language School is the must.
- Experience in import of chemicals & ingredients is preferred.
- Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
- Experience in Import documentation requirements and Processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a foreign purchasing specialist or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.
- ERP experience (SAP) is a plus.
- Team player with strong organizational skills.
