Job Description
- Develop and implement a clear sales strategy for shipping and export services tailored to target markets.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, especially in North African countries such as Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
- You will also play a vital role in expanding our presence in foreign markets through strategic sales and marketing efforts, ensuring effective promotion of our shipping and export services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets, with a focus on export growth.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on shipping rates, competitors, and regional .
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance, etc.) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and trade missions to represent the company and attract new clients.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
- Successful previous experience as a Sales Manager for 1 to 5 years, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in shipping and export companies
- Strong background in handling non-Egyptian clients, particularly clients from North Africa
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- A solid background in marketing, with the ability to support sales through market analysis, promotional strategies, or collaboration with marketing teams
