Job Description
Job Purpose:
An Auto Parts Specialist, will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to auto parts section specializing in Tires, responsible for inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service. And will work closely with service and operations sections to identify their needs, create appropriate forecast, analysis, recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing needed parts for the maintenance staff and sale of inventory for the service centers.
- Deal with different types of parts including tires and answer inquiries about various equipment and machine parts.
- Set individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover.
- Ensure parts inventory turns a profit throughout the year.
- Monitor and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
- Assist in the orders setup for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
- Assist After Sales department in replenishment of sold inventory.
- Collaborate with operations and service departments to gather data related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage order entry and order processing for local customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ensure all parts are correctly tagged and supervise stock order procedures.
- Establish and enforce the department policies and processes for the special parts orders.
- Ensure that stock orders constitute a consistent percentage of all orders.
- Analyze monthly sales, expenses, and inventory to meet profit targets.
- Collaborate with service and body shop sections for timely parts delivery.
- Direct counter sales efforts to maintain customer relationship.
- Complies with governmental rules and local regulations affecting parts management.
- Handles customer complaints promptly while following Company guidelines.

- Continuously updates distributor/supplier records.
- Report overages, shortages, or damaged items to parts head.
- Help maintain our parts inventory.
- Locate parts using our ERP system.
- Order out-of-stock items based on needs and analysis.
- Issue purchase orders to external suppliers.
- Create analysis reports to keep parts in stock, maintaining detailed records of inventory, and overseeing the timely delivery of parts to and from their location.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Any high Bachelor degree in any related field.
- Prior experience and extensive knowledge in auto parts sales specially in tires is must
- Extensive knowledge of different types of tires
- Very good communication, negotiation, organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to effectively manage inventory and maintain accurate records
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in computer software and systems related to auto parts inventory management
- Very good time management and problem-solving skills.
