Job Description
The person in this role will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all sales and supervisory activities within the branch they manage. This includes ensuring the achievement of the sales plan, promoting the company’s products and offers, and working to increase the company’s market share. Additionally, the role involves supervising all branch departments and ensuring the smooth operation of work processes according to established standards.
We expect the person in this role to be a leader who can develop the skills and abilities of the team, monitor their performance, and work on improving the targeted results. They will provide the necessary guidance and support to achieve the targeted sales growth and ensure the company's sustainable growth. The Branch Sales Manager will also handle all administrative and operational matters of the branch through their team.
- Achieve overall sales targets for the branch, ensuring collection of payments and resolution of returned products.
- Supervise sales supervisors and representatives to ensure task completion and attainment of expected results.
- Implement corrective actions to enhance sales team performance, achieve targets, and sustain branch profitability.
- Monitor branch operational costs and ensure budget optimization for maximum efficiency.
- Oversee sales representatives’ and supervisors’ client visit schedules to build strong customer relationships and expand the client base.
- Manage administrative functions at the branch level, including attendance, leave, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide recommendations regarding customer credit limits in coordination with the Area Manager, based on company policy.
- Define payment terms with pharmacies (e.g., credit or cash) in line with financial and sales policies.
- Address and resolve internal employee issues at the branch.
- Resolve sales-related issues between the company and its clients.
- Drive branch sales growth and expand into new areas through regular field visits to customers.
- Participate in the formation of the sales team (representatives and supervisors), ensuring they receive the necessary training to meet performance expectations.
- Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities, promptly reporting changes and proposing strategic initiatives to strengthen Soficopharm’s market position.
- Review customer orders to verify seriousness and alignment with business goals.
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure product availability, minimize shortages, and optimize inventory turnover according to company targets.
- Ensure the sales team is well-informed and aligned with promotions, bonuses, shortages, stagnant stock, and expired items, following company guidelines.
- Clearly communicate administrative decisions and policies to the sales team, maintaining alignment between management and staff.
- Ensure all branch staff comply with company regulations and prevent any deviations from corporate standards.
- Coordinate interdepartmental operations to maintain seamless workflow.
- Evaluate employee performance in accordance with company policies and follow up on training plans to enhance staff efficiency.
Job Requirements
- BS in Business Administration or related field
- Proven sales branch management experience or similar role
