Job Description
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor compliance with safety procedures.
- Enforce the implementation of project-specific safety plans and risk assessments (JSA, HIRA, etc.).
- Inspect PPE usage, work permits, and safe practices for lifting, hot work, electrical isolation, and confined space work.
- Deliver safety induction and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and submit reports with root cause analysis.
- Maintain safety logs, checklists, and site safety documentation.
- Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to ensure HSE compliance during critical activities.
- Liaise with client HSE representatives during audits and inspections.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
- Ensure emergency response preparedness and first-aid compliance.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification (mandatory).
- 3–5 years of HSE experience in electrical infrastructure projects or substations.
- Knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and local safety regulations.
