Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Media Buyer to plan, negotiate, and purchase advertising space and airtime across digital and/or traditional media platforms. You will play a key role in executing strategic media plans, optimizing ad performance, and ensuring the best possible return on investment for our campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute media buys across platforms (digital, TV, radio, print, OOH, etc.)
- Negotiate rates and placements with media vendors and platforms
- Collaborate with strategists and creatives to align media plans with campaign goals
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize in real-time
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform buying strategies
- Track budgets, invoices, and media spend for accuracy and efficiency
- Report on campaign metrics, ROI, and provide actionable insights
- Stay current with media trends, emerging platforms, and industry benchmarks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in media buying (agency or in-house)
- Strong negotiation skills and analytical mindset
- Familiarity with platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, DSPs, or traditional media buying tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in media planning software and analytics tools is a plus (e.g., MediaOcean, Strata, DV360, Nielsen, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with programmatic advertising and data-driven targetin
- Strong understanding of media KPIs (CTR, CPM, CPA, ROAS, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet tight deadlines
- Passion for media trends and audience insights
