Job Description

  • Review and verify drawings, dimensions, and documents received from the Engineering Department.
  • Ensure compliance of technical specifications between contract items and on-site execution.
  • Plan and organize the project implementation process.
  • Identify workforce requirements for the project.
  • Assist in preparing the project timeline.
  • Support in determining the actual project cost based on quantities and technical specifications.
  • Monitor and supervise project implementation, ensure alignment with the project schedule, and update the timeline when needed.
  • Coordinate between engineers and project consultants to inspect and approve all works delivered by the contractor in line with the defined technical specifications at each stage.
  • Review and approve samples and catalogues submitted by the contractor, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and obtaining consultant approval.
  • Review and validate periodic project invoices submitted by the contractor against contract prices, quantities, and the project schedule.
  • Prepare monthly invoices for subcontractors.
  • Provide monthly progress reports on work developments and accomplishments.
  • Participate as a member of the handover committee and take responsibility for the preliminary acceptance of completed works.
  • Ensure timely handover of the project to the Operations Department.
  • Lead, supervise, and guide the project team to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to project objectives.
  • Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Min. 10 years of experience in the same field.

  • Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Decision-making capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet, AutoCAD, MS projects).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
