Job Description
Project Planning & Execution
- Define scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements
- Create detailed work breakdown structures and timelines
- Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor selection
Team Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance evaluations
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Approve expenditures and manage cost-saving initiatives
- Handle financial reporting and billing milestones
Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control procedures and inspection schedules
- Ensure adherence to technical specifications and client expectations
- Address defects and initiate corrective actions promptly
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities
- Provide weekly progress reports and host client meetings
Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
Technology & Reporting
- Utilize project management software for scheduling and reporting
- Analyze KPIs and generate dashboards for executive review
- Recommend process improvements based on data insights
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in construction project management
- Experience in a construction company is a must
- Experience in large scale commercial/residential projects is a must
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
