Job Description

Education Program Officer

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Education Program Officer to join our team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end scholarship process, from contract management and financial procedures to student engagement and partner relations. You will play a key role in ensuring that scholarship programs are delivered efficiently, transparently, and in line with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, renew, and monitor scholarship contracts for students.

Oversee financial and administrative processes using the AX system, ensuring all approvals are properly secured.

Prepare and review purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payment requests in coordination with relevant departments.

Maintain and update comprehensive student databases with accurate and timely information.

Prepare all scholarship-related documents, including budgets, KPIs, and work plans, while monitoring implementation.

Coordinate with universities and institutional partners to execute agreements and manage new student intakes.

Track and report on students’ academic performance and volunteer commitments, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Support financial settlements and payment processes, ensuring compliance with approved procedures.

Handle inquiries from students and parents, while fostering strong and professional relationships with beneficiaries and partners.

Contribute to process improvement, suggesting innovative practices for effective scholarship management.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Business Administration, or related field).
  • Proven experience in scholarship management, grants administration, or educational program coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and administrative procedures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AX or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • ● Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting for program monitoring and evaluation.
