Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Management Engineer to lead, mentor, and oversee the planning, control, and management of our construction and real estate portfolios. The successful candidate will have a proven record in cost control, financial reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to deliver strategic insights that enhance project performance.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor cost management teams to ensure best practices in project planning and control.
- Develop and implement robust cost control systems across multiple large-scale projects.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, prepare accurate P&L statements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee contract management, including negotiation, drafting, and risk mitigation.
- Manage revenue streams and cash flow to maintain financial stability.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Leverage data mining and analytics to enhance reporting accuracy and support decision-making.
- Provide pre-construction advisory, assessing feasibility, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the cost management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction cost management, planning, and financial control.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for large-scale projects.
- Strong experience in contract negotiation and risk management.
- Skilled in data analysis, revenue stream management, and cash flow optimization.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, and related tools.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications:
PMP, IPMA, or MBA (any considered a plus)
