Job Description
- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using industry-standard planning software to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather project data and integrate it into the master schedule.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports, forecasts, and schedule analyses to management and stakeholders.
- Identify potential delays, risks, and bottlenecks, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Allocate resources efficiently by analyzing manpower, equipment, and material requirements for each project phase.
- Maintain accurate records of project milestones, deliverables, and changes to the project scope or schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of tender schedules, work breakdown structures, and baseline programs for new projects.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company policies in all planning activities.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to align material delivery schedules with project timelines.
- Continuously review and improve planning processes to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of proven experience in project planning within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and project lifecycles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work onsite as required by project demands.
