Job Description
- To manage day to day Quality Control (QC) functions in all the areas of operation through a team of QC site Mangers, Senior QC Engineers, QC Engineers, welding inspectors and QC Inspectors.
- To ensure project QC programmes meet contract and Company’s ISO requirements.
- To ensure projects are staffed with adequate numbers and types of QC personnel.
- To ensure the resolution of QC issues at project or country level.
- To provide effective leadership for Area’s Unit Heads of Quality Control.
- To gain and maintain the confidence of the Company project client management in matters related to Company quality and customer satisfaction.
- To review tender documents and give input regarding QC activities/ requirements.
- To keep the Corporate Department Manager (QC)/ Corporate Director - QA&C regularly updated regarding the quality issues.
- Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements.
- Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
