Job Description
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate construction materials and workmanship to guarantee adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Prepare detailed quality control reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
- Train site personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and services meet required quality standards.
- Participate in project meetings to provide input on quality-related matters.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project quality and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry.
- Proven track record in implementing and maintaining quality control systems for large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
