Job Description
- Conduct thorough inspections of furniture products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation specific to the furniture industry.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Monitor and evaluate raw materials and finished goods for defects, inconsistencies, and adherence to specifications.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to address quality concerns and verify incoming materials meet required standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to quality assurance processes.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the furniture industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and measurement instruments.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, and SolidWorks.
