Job Description
• Assess the current IT status and develop a clear 12–24 month IT roadmap
• Set up and manage:
• Company-wide email system (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)
• Centralized file storage, data backup, and access control systems
• Basic hardware and secure office network infrastructure
• Equipment tracking and inventory software
• Business operations tools (ERP-lite systems, project/task tracking software, etc.)
• Support departments in migrating from paper/manual workflows to digital tools
• Lead IT-related procurement and manage vendor relationships
• Provide IT training to non-technical staff and leadership teams
• Plan and lead the recruitment and structuring of a future internal IT team
• Ensure foundational cybersecurity protections, data privacy compliance, and high system uptime
• Contribute to future cloud infrastructure planning, particularly if AWS adoption expands
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT roles, with at least 2 years in an IT leadership or management capacity
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
• IT infrastructure (networks, systems, cloud services)
• SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, HR/payroll tools, etc.)
• Cybersecurity best practices
• Experience working in environments without existing systems is a major plus
• Proficient in supporting Linux-based environments
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train and support non-technical staff
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Experience in oil & gas, construction, logistics, or field services is a bonus
