Job Description
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple hotel and resort locations.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies and security best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and upgrades of IT equipment and software.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are up-to-date and regularly tested.
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols to protect sensitive company and guest information.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Support the rollout of new applications, systems, and technology initiatives across the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on the effective use of IT resources and tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in IT support or systems administration, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and server management.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and network configuration.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support users at all levels.
- Willingness to work onsite and provide occasional after-hours support as needed.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
