Job Description
Location: Dubai (On-site)
Industry: Data & Analytics (Healthcare experience is a plus)
- Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines from multiple sources.
- Ensure real-time and high-quality data flow to support analytics and decision-making.
- Automate data integration and transformation tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Data Architects to implement scalable and robust data infrastructure.
- Partner with Data Scientists to refine data inputs and enhance analytical outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and performance metrics.
- Implement data validation, cleaning, and quality assurance protocols.
- Monitor and log system performance and resolve pipeline or infrastructure issues.
- Contribute to a healthcare data ecosystem, ensuring seamless collaboration and data integration across platforms.

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certifications in ETL tools, big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Cloudera, Informatica) are advantageous.
Experience:
- 5–7 years of professional experience in data engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Data transformation, validation, and integration processes.
- Big data frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in SQL Server – including stored procedures, performance tuning, and advanced SQL.
- ETL development using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Scripting and automation using Python.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working in the healthcare domain is a strong plus.
- Fluent English is essential – both written and verbal communication must be clear and professional.
Technical Deliverables:
- Documented inventory of all data pipelines, including performance and transformation logic.
- Automation scripts with maintenance guides.
- Logs and metrics for system health and performance monitoring.
