Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our growing team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using the Azure ecosystem. You will collaborate with international clients and internal teams to deliver clean, reliable, and optimized data pipelines that support enterprise analytics and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric
- Develop and maintain data models and enterprise data warehouse architectures
- Optimize SQL queries and apply performance tuning best practices
- Administer and monitor Azure data environments, ensuring security, availability, and cost-efficiency
- Maintain and enhance ETL processes using SSIS
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to ensure high-quality data delivery
- Work with Power BI (preferred) and Alteryx (a plus) within the broader data stack
Job Requirements
- Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Factory
- Synapse Analytics
- Microsoft Fabric
- Mastery of SQL and advanced query optimization
- Proficiency in SSIS for ETL development
- Experience with Azure administration (resource management, access control, cost optimization)
- Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation workflows
- Fluent English communication skills (required for working with international clients)
- Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., Data Engineer Associate or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)
- Working knowledge of Alteryx (Is a plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps for data pipelines
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
