Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Fleet Section Head to manage and optimize our employee transportation operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective transport services for thousands of employees, supporting the smooth functioning of our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the company’s transportation fleet (buses, vans, drivers).
Plan, schedule, and monitor transportation routes to ensure on-time arrival and departure. - Manage driver performance, training, and compliance with safety and company policies.
- Monitor vehicle conditions, coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective actions.
- Control transportation costs and optimize route efficiency.
- Handle contracts and coordinate with external transportation service providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet utilization, expenses, and incident reports.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in fleet or transportation management, preferably in large-scale manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, route planning, and vehicle maintenance.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience handling large driver teams
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and cost-control abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
