We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team and oversee the efficient production of low voltage panels. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABB products and a deep understanding of electrical panel manufacturing processes.
Position Overview:
The Production Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the entire production process of low voltage panels, ensuring the efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality products. The successful candidate will have prior experience with ABB products, a solid understanding of industry standards, and a proven track record in leading teams to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations for low voltage panels, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
Manage and supervise a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure efficient use of resources, materials, and equipment to maximize production output and minimize waste.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure production processes align with project specifications and customer requirements.
Monitor production schedules and work with the planning team to ensure on-time delivery of products.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Troubleshoot production issues and resolve technical challenges, especially those related to ABB products.
Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
Manage inventory of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure smooth production flow.
Generate reports on production performance, including KPIs, downtime, and quality metrics.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,
At least 5 years of experience in a production management role within the low voltage panel manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of ABB products and systems (e.g., ABB circuit breakers, contactors, switches, relays, etc.).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing production teams.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to resolving production challenges.
Familiarity with ISO quality standards and safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with ABB low voltage products, such as automation systems, distribution boards, and switchgear.
Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically for manufacturing processes.
