Job Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and problems from salespeople, subcontractors, and clients.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to identify ideal technical proposals
- Preparing shop drawings, coordinating the approval of drawings, and taking responsibility for distributing approved drawings to relevant site personnel.
- Provide assistance and direction to field staff regarding the understanding and implementation of engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
- Ensure that project documentation is accurate and current, including records, reports, and other technical information
- Assist with creating and executing technical training programs for field staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical or engineering support role, preferably in the MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management processes.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Willingness to go to project sites as needed
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
