Job Description
- Studies the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Prepares and reviews shop drawings (or composite drawings) based on the project's design drawings in accordance with quality standards.
- Coordinates with other trades to solve any conflict between various engineering disciplines.
- Updates the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to the consultant for approval.
- Ensures that all drawings, documentation, and records in use are reviewed and approved by the consultant.
- Studies and prepares requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting, or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Reviews sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinates their approval process with the project consultant.
Job Requirements
- Very good English and Arabic reading, writing, & speaking skills.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office.
- Very good use of AutoCAD.
- Very good use of Revit.
