Job Description
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review project proposals, specifications, and technical documents.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide technical input.
- Review and evaluate engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Identify design inconsistencies, errors, and omissions.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations for design improvements.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for technical office deliverables.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Review and approve design calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
- Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects.
- Review and evaluate contractor submittals, including shop drawings and material samples.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address technical challenges.
- Review change requests, cost estimates, and impact analyses.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical office engineering.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
