Job Description
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
- Assist in the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance.
- Provide support in the selection of products and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services to meet production timelines and requirements.
- Tracking stock in the inventory and restocking the items as and when required.
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings.
- Conduct research on suppliers and vendors of goods and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, vendors and develop new partnerships.
- Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function, staying up to date of industry trends and market conditions.
- Liaising with internal departments (rae matrial procuremenr , production, marketing,…, etc).
- Implementing effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
- Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role (3 to 5 year experience), Preferably FMCG background.
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
- Negotiation skills to Influencing stakeholders and closing deals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork skill to effectively working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems.
