Job Description
- Advise internal stakeholders on matters related to Egyptian civil, commercial, labor, and tax laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements and employment contracts.
- Ensure full compliance with Egyptian legal requirements in areas such as corporate governance, licensing, data privacy and employment law.
- Provide legal risk assessments and practical recommendations aligned with the group’s business strategy in Egypt.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the Egyptian legal team to ensure alignment with company-wide legal standards and ethical practices.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Egypt and update management accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Group Legal team to ensure consistency in legal operations and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Minimum 2-3 years of progressive legal experience.
- knowledge of Egyptian commercial, labor, tax, and civil laws.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and contract drafting skills in both Arabic and English.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex legal matters independently.
