Job Description
● Oversee and manage all legal affairs of the organization, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international laws and regulations.
● Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to logistics, supply chain, and business operations.
● Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and various departments on business initiatives, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements.
● Monitor changes in legislation and regulations that may impact company operations, and proactively implement necessary policy updates.
● Represent the company in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations with external parties, including regulators, partners, and clients.
● Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and training programs to promote legal awareness and compliance across the organization.
● Collaborate with external legal counsel and manage relationships to ensure effective handling of specialized legal matters.
● Conduct internal investigations and audits to identify potential legal risks and recommend corrective actions.
● Support the company’s expansion and business development activities by providing legal due diligence and risk assessments.
● Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on legal risks, compliance status, and ongoing legal matters.
Job Requirements
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal affairs, corporate law, or a related field.
● Proven track record in managing legal functions within a fast-paced, multinational environment.
● Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and commercial law.
● Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience advising senior management.
● High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
● Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and internal policies.
● Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
