Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Equity Analyst to join our dynamic research team at a reputable securities brokerage firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling, Analysis, and Research:
- Develop, maintain, and update financial models using Microsoft Excel.
- Analyze economic, market, and industry data, and monitor market trends and company news.
- Interpret model outputs to assess company performance in support of investment recommendations.
- Reporting & Presentation:
- Prepare clear and detailed financial reports for internal and external clients
- Incorporate quantitative and qualitative analysis using text and charts.
- Create high-impact reports and presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Task Planning and Management:
- Manage daily tasks and projects with strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the research team on various team projects to deliver timely analysis and reports.
- Teamwork and Communication:
- Exhibit a strong ability to work independently through self-motivation, while also taking initiative and contributing effectively within a close-knit team.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English and Arabic, ensuring clarity in report writing and team discussions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferably, CFA Level 1 completed or in progress.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a financial or research role, ideally within a securities brokerage environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in financial modeling.
- Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating effective reports.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in data analysis and report generation.
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills in both professional English and Arabic.
