Job Summary
The Accounting Manager oversees all financial and accounting operations within the company to ensure accuracy of records and compliance with accepted accounting standards. The role involves providing reports and analyses to support decision-making, managing the accounting team, and handling coordination with internal and external entities.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the accounting team and assign responsibilities.
- Review and approve daily financial transactions (cash – checks – transfers).
- Manage relationships with banks and oversee credit facilities.
- Prepare checks and ensure correct signatures and banking forms.
- Monitor collection of checks and receivables from clients.
- Record shipment costs and ensure accurate posting in the system.
- Handle payroll and monthly bank transfers.
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and financial contracts.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and budgets.
- File tax declarations and liaise with tax authorities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Archive financial documents in compliance with standards.
- Provide accurate financial analysis to senior management.
- Contribute to developing financial policies and improving efficiency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Sciences.
- FRIS certification is required (mandatory).
- CMA certification is a plus (optional).
- 5–10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in industrial or commercial environments.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel/ERP.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
