IT Infrastructure Team Leader

Summary of Role: 

IT Infrastructure Team Leader is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the integrity and performance of the corporate IT infrastructure as data centers, connectivity, backup and cloud services. 

Also, this role is responsible for leading IT Infrastructure and Operations teams in order to achieve the department’s vision, projects and operation. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsible for IT Infrastructure by managing data centers including hypervisors, firewalls and network devices. 

Administer Azure tenant including VMs, databases, backup and security. 

Administer Microsoft 365 tenant including (Identity, Exchange online, SharePoint online, Intune, teams and OneDrive). 

Manage connectivity between wide range of branches by MPLS and IP-Sec through multiple technologies (Microware, WiMAX and Leased Line). 

Ensure high security measures applied on firewalls, antimalware and Microsoft Defender to comply with security standards. 

Monitor IT services performance and availability through monitoring tools and alerts to ensure service continuity. 

Ensure software patching to servers and endpoints and maintaining up-to-date OS & firmware versions on Infrastructure devices. 

Communicate with vendors and partners regarding escalated cases to be resolved within SLA. 

Maintain online and offline backups of servers, data and configuration files. 

Lead IT Infrastructure and Operations teams by assigning tasks and setting guidelines to improve teamwork productivity and share knowledge. 

Provide reports from IT solutions to verify systems health and integrity.
