Job Description
IT Infrastructure & Networking
- Oversee configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- Monitor network performance, connectivity, and security, ensuring best practices are applied.
- Manage IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Lead vendor management for network upgrades and solutions.
Systems, Users & Security Management
- Manage user accounts, access control, and provisioning via Active Directory/identity management systems.
- Supervise email platform administration (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace), distribution lists, and shared mailboxes.
- Ensure IT security protocols are followed, including endpoint protection and awareness training.
- Oversee disaster recovery planning, testing, and IT risk management.
Helpdesk & Support Operations
- Lead all IT support, ensuring first- and second-level support is delivered effectively to all employees.
- Supervise hardware/software deployment, maintenance, and upgrades (Windows, macOS, productivity tools, business apps).
- Implement IT best practices and user training initiatives.
System Administration & Projects
- Manage physical and virtual servers, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.
- Oversee IT asset management, inventory control, and documentation of IT processes.
- Drive automation, process improvements, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Lead IT-related strategic projects across the company, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Strong hands-on background in network administration, systems management, and IT support.
- Proven experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and IT compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership skills — able to build, guide, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leaders.
