Job Description

TPM Program Implementation:

  • Lead and sustain TPM pillar activities (Daily Productivity, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Early Equipment Management).
  • Develop standardized TPM procedures, checklists, and schedules for critical equipment.
  • Train operators and technicians on TPM methodologies (e.g., AM Pillar: Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection).

Equipment Reliability & Performance:

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) for chronic equipment issues.
  • Implement predictive/preventive maintenance strategies to reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and increase MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
  • Monitor and report OEE, downtime trends, and other KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and increasing Productivity .

Lean Manufacturing Integration:

  • Apply Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke) to eliminate waste and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production shop floor teams to standardize work processes and reduce variability.

Data-Driven Maintenance:

  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history.
  • Analyze equipment data to prioritize improvement projects and resource allocation.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001).
  • Promote a culture of safety through 5S and hazard identification initiatives.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or electrical Engineering, most preferably is electrical or industrial engineering 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in TPM, reliability engineering, or maintenance within a fast consumer manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with TPM pillars and Lean Manufacturing tools.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • TPM Practitioner/Pillar Leader Certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in OEE calculation, RCA, and FMEA.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, any ERP).
  • Basic knowledge of automation/PLC systems (a plus).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and training/coaching abilities.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
