About the Role:

A dynamic and results-driven Senior Social Media Specialist to join our agile marketing team. In the fast-evolving landscape of online recruitment, this role is pivotal in shaping our brand's voice, expanding our reach, and connecting with both job seekers and employers across Egypt and the GCC region. You will be instrumental in developing and executing cutting-edge social media strategies, driving engagement, and ultimately contributing to our user acquisition and growth objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Social Media Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with our business goals for online recruitment. Identify target audiences (job seekers, employers, industry influencers) and tailor content and campaigns to resonate with each segment.
  • Content Innovation & Curation: Lead the creation of compelling, high-quality content (text, visuals, video, interactive formats) that showcases our platform's value proposition, highlights success stories, and positions us as a thought leader in online recruitment. Curate relevant industry news and trends.
  • Community Building & Engagement: Actively foster and manage a vibrant online community across all relevant platforms. Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, facilitate discussions, and cultivate brand loyalty and advocacy.
  • Social Listening & Market Intelligence: Monitor social conversations, industry trends, competitor activities, and user feedback to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform content strategy and product development.
  • AI-Powered Automation & Optimization: Champion the integration and utilization of AI tools to automate social media tasks, enhance content creation, personalize outreach, optimize ad targeting, and gain deeper analytical insights. Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies relevant to social media and recruitment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with product, sales, content, and engineering teams to ensure consistent messaging, amplify key initiatives, and leverage social media for maximum business impact.
  • Platform Management & Best Practices: Oversee all social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency, compliance with platform guidelines, and adherence to the latest best practices and algorithm changes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in social media marketing, with a significant portion of that time spent in a senior role within a tech startup environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working with and understanding the nuances of the GCC market. Familiarity with local cultural sensitivities, consumer behaviors, and digital trends in the region is essential.
  • Proven track record of leveraging AI tools for social media automation, content generation, analytics, or campaign optimization. Be prepared to discuss specific tools used and the impact achieved.
  • Expert-level knowledge of major social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat) and their respective analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CPA, ROI, CTR, etc.) and experience managing paid social media campaigns with demonstrable results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Highly analytical with a strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing startup environment.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.

Performance Marketing & Analytics: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns to drive user acquisition (both job seekers and employers), increase platform sign-ups, and generate leads. Analyze campaign performance, generate insightful reports, and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
