Job Description
- Develop and implement production plans to ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align planning activities with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Analyze production data and workflow to identify areas for process improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on production status, inventory, and planning metrics for management review.
- Adjust schedules and plans in response to unforeseen changes in demand or supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet company standards.
- Support the launch of new products by coordinating planning activities with relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate records of planning activities and update ERP or planning systems as required.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate planning updates and resolve operational issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in planning, production, or supply chain roles, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt plans based on changing business needs.
- Experience with ERP systems or production planning tools.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
