Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee all electromechanical construction and maintenance activities for Waterway’s projects in Egypt. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless execution of MEP systems, aligning with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) across all Waterway projects.
- Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to Egyptian building codes.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of MEP systems to guarantee long-term functionality and efficiency.
- Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards throughout all project phases.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in MEP management, preferably in large-scale construction projects in Egypt or the Middle East.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proven track record of managing electromechanical construction and maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of Egyptian construction regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Engineering and project management software (e.g., Revit, Bim, Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
- PMP or similar certification is a plus.
